DESCRIPTION:
Aluminum Bright Concentrate is a concentrated product to be fast acting, but at the same time much safer to the user and more forgiving the potential etching of hot aluminum surfaces. Aluminum Bright will leave a high luster finish. This product is also safe to be used as a two- step wash product.
DIRECTIONS:
(1) Dilute this concentrated product 50/50 with water (1 drum = 2 drums). (2) Apply the diluted product at a ratio between 40-80: 1 depending on the type and temperature of the aluminum. Please note: always start at the highest dilution ratio first and work your way up for testing. Always test surface and product compatibility first on small inconspicuous place. (3) Always cool down aluminum surface as close to 70 0 by washing out of direct sunlight and by pre-wetting all surface that is to be cleaned and brightened. (4) Apply this product using a fan spray going from bottom to top on a pre-wetted surface to help avoid runs. (5) Rinse thoroughly with large amounts of water. (6) Neutralize with a high pH product from top down. (7) Final rinse. *THIS PRODUCT IS NOT DESIGNED TO BE USED ON HIGH GLOSS ALUMINUM SUCH AS DAIRY TANKERS
CAUTION:
Corrosive to eyes, skin, mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract. Harmful by ingestion. FIRST AID PROCEDIJRES: EYES: Immediately wash with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation persists. SKIN: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Seek medical advice if symptoms develop. INGESTION: If swallowed call a physician immediately. DO NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by a physician. Never give an unconscious person anything by mouth. INHALATION: Move to fresh air, if not breathing, apply artificial respiration. Seek medical advice.
STORAGE AND HANDLNG:
Wash hands before eating. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Keep containers closed when not in use. Avoid overheating and freezing. Avoid strong bases and oxidizers. Triple rinse empty containers before disposal.
PERSONAL PROTECTION:
For open systems where contact is likely, wear safety glasses with side shields, long sleeves, and chemical resistant gloves. Where contact may occur, wear safety glasses with side shields. Where concentration in air may exceed the TLV, work practice or other means of exposure reduction are not adequate. NIOSH/MSHA approved respirators may be necessary to prevent overexposure by inhalation.
